do i need to give my students a pass to use the media center?

- AFTER SCHOOL: If they arrive at the media center before 2:25PM

how do i sign up to use a media center computer lab?
Check out our online calendar on our website ("Calendar" tab on the navigation bar) to see what lab space is available. Then call us at x6789, email us (etu@ebnet.org or jfoung@ebnet.org) or visit us @ the media center to request lab space. If you are emailing us please include your class periods and whether or not you will need a media specialist to provide any instruction.
how many books/materials can i check out? Are there any late fees for staff?
You can check out as many materials as you'd like. Staff members have a one month check out period & no fines for late materials.
what devices are available for staff to checkout for class use?
The media center houses several chrome book carts (30 chromebooks a cart), an iPad cart (10 iPads in a cart), a laptop cart (20 laptops a cart), and a netbook cart. Take a look at our media center device calendar ("Calendar' tab on the navigation bar) to see device availability.
i have students that do not have a computer at home, but their homework requires that they use a computer. can students borrow any devices?
Yes. The media center has netbooks available for students to check out. Please send your student to the media center to obtain a permission slip.
Can I request books/materials from other libraries?
YES! Churchill Jr. High School is the district hub for all state-wide inter-library loans. We can borrow materials from almost any other public, school or university library in the state.
